CIR M03/06: SMEJS TRADE MISSION TO VIETNAM (JULY 8-12, TUE-SAT)

 

SME Johor Selatan will be organizing a trade mission to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam as follows:

Date :	July 8-12, 2008 (Tue - Sat)
Time :	July 8 (9:00am ETD JB); July 12 (11:30pm ETA JB)
Venue :	Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), Vietnam
Fee :	RM2, 900 /= (inclusive of return economy class flight, meal, accommodation on twin sharing basis and travel insurance

The objectives of the trade mission are:

• to enhance the bilateral trade relationship with Vietnam
• to explore and develop possible business opportunity with Vietnamese counterparts
• to updates to the Vietnam counterpart on the business and investment environment especially the IDR project in Johor
• to perform market research and identify Malaysian products for export to Vietnam
• to exchange ideas and knowledge in terms of regulations, political issues and tax incentives with a purpose to formulate strategies for export, and at the same time, propose a plan of foreign investment into Malaysia

We are in the process of getting the approval for endorsement for the Market Development Grant from MATRADE. If approve, the qualified SME will be entitle for 50% rebates.
