SINGAPORE, July 6 (Bernama) -- As part of the process of developing the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the three ASEAN Community Blueprints, Singapore is currently hosting the four-day Seventh Meeting of the High-Level Task Force.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said, the high-level task force comprise senior officials from ten ASEAN countries.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and MFS would jointly conduct a public consultation exercise to seek public opinion and views on the ASEAN Community Blueprints (2016-2025) also beginning Monday.
The ASEAN Community, based on the three community pillars of the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), would be established at year-end.
As community-building is an ongoing process, ASEAN has established a high-level task force to develop the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and three ASEAN Community Blueprints (2016-2025) to be adopted at the 27th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur this November.
